The charity is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) corporation. We have annual Certified Financial Statements (2006 now available) from Grant Thornton CPA's filed with the New York State Department of State. Our Tax ID number is 13-3340675. The charity has very low expenses, we do not use professional fundraisers, and we rely on an active volunteer committee to raise funds.
